SCADA (Supervisory control and data acquisition) – centralized control and management of engineering systems, as well as diagnostics of their work on large objects. Such objects are, for example, industrial facilities, agricultural complexes, office buildings and shopping centers, sports facilities, hotel facilities.
SCADA, as a rule, is implemented with the automation of engineering systems and provides for the formation of a unified information system in which data on equipment operation are centrally sent to the control room for operational management and control (local control), as well as in the case of distant buildings and objects to the central station (remote control). SCADA, together with automation, solves the problem of energy efficiency, reducing operating costs, improving safety and quality of working conditions.
Depending on the nature of the facility’s activity, SCADA may cover all or some of the following vital systems::
- power supply;
- air conditioning and ventilation systems (supply, exhaust);
- heat supply (central and individual);
- exterior and interior lighting;
- water supply and sewerage;
- security alarm, access control and video surveillance;
- fire protection system (smoke ventilation, fire suppression, fire water supply);
- consumption accounting system for electricity, water, heat energy;
- lift equipment;
- other systems (cold supply, air preparation, etc.).
Effective SCADA system involves not only the use of reliable equipment, but also the presence of an understandable and convenient graphic part of the system for use by all recipients of information: operators, engineering personnel and management. intraHouse provides visualization of equipment and engineering systems regardless of their number and scale of the object, and also provides extensive modeling capabilities. The intraHouse system also allows remote access from mobile devices (phones / tablets) via a web interface for monitoring an object from anywhere in the world.
The system archives the measured data, records events and incidents and generates reports that can send data to external recipients of information (indicators of meters for the consumption of various resources).
Increasing the area of the object and adding new equipment to the system will not be a problem and will take a minimum amount of time.
